Im back

Sorry I have been mia for the past few weeks.  My internet was down on my computer here at home so I was trying to figure that out.
Its been busy I will be 28 weeks this Wednesday which is 3rd trimester!  Not to much longer to wait till we meet this little one.
I am feeling good.  I get tired after a long day at work of being on my feet but thats the way things go.

Jordan has been busy getting into everything.  She is so curious.  She loves baby dolls which gives her lots of practice for when her little sister shows up.  We are also transitioning her into her big girl bed , and this seems to be going well.

We are also getting ready to go on our first big vacation as a family.  We are going to the Bahamas for a week right after Thanksgiving.  Nor and Kevin, and Ross, Heidi and the kids will e coming along as well.  We are very excited for this trip!!

We took Jordan trick or treating.  She seemed to enjoy it not that she really understood.  She was a puppy and she seemed to like her costume.  Tyler and I went to a Halloween party as well we dressed up as Professor and pregnant school girl.  It was pretty fun!

It's a....

Girl!

We learned we are having another little girl.  We are so thrilled and can not wait to meet her.

17 weeks

I am 17 weeks today, and I am feeling good.  Im looking pregnant too people are asking me at work when I am due.  We are able to find out the sex in a few weeks which we are excited about. 

We went and got Jordan's passport done for our vacation to the Bahamas in November.  So now we are all ready for that.  Jordan is getting so big too.  Its amazing she is 17 months.  She is so aware of everything.  You ask her to bring you something and a lot of time she knows what it is and will go find it.  We will be moving her into a toddler bed in the next few months to get her used to that so we can use the crib for the new baby.

Big Sister!

Jordan is going to be a big sister!  Baby is due January 30, 2013.  We are very excited.  We found out shortly after mother day.  We then had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and we were able to hear the heartbeat and everything.  We are using same hospital and Doctor that we used last time.  I have felt pretty good.  I was somewhat nauseous in the beginning and I was sick once.  I have been really tired, but its not as easy to nap with a toddler running around.

Birthday Weekend

Last weekend we went up to the cities for my birthday and to meet our new nephew Emmett.  It was a lot of fun meeting Ross and Heidi's new addition Emmett.  He is adorable and you forget how small they are when they are born.  We also jumped in the pool which was nice.  Ordered dinner in, ate ice cream cake, opened gifts.  We then went out and the boys put on a firework show for us.  It was pretty nice.  Overall it was a very fun weekend.

Toddler Olson

My "baby" is no longer a baby.  Jordan is now a toddler.  If  her standing on chairs and getting into everything is not an indication I don't know what is.  She is lots of fun as she much more active and has an amazing personality.  We went for her 15 month check up on Tuesday, and she is 21.6lbs (25%), 31.25 in(80%), and 17.9 in head circumference(50%)..Her head grew quite a bit because she had been in 10% for her head since birth.  Doctor said she looked good and looked like she has an amazing personality.  Luckily no shots until her 18 month check up. 
We went to Brained this last weekend for Tyler was doing this racing thing with his car.  Where he got 8 hours on a track to just drive as fast as he want.  He had a lot of fun.  His friend Stuart joined us along with driving his own car, and Nor and Kevin came to watch.  Then on Sunday we stayed at Bay Lake and Tyler's grandparents house.  They enjoyed the company and enjoyed spending time with their great granddaughter.

This coming weekend Nor, Kevin and most of the Chamber's are coming to Winona.  In Winona it is Steamboat days.  Its like a mini carnival and they have all sorts of fun things going on.  Saturday we might go over to the boat races.  We will probably go get our self some cheese curds as well.

Jordan Walks

This and That

It has been pretty hot last few days.  We have spent sometime in the pool here and at daycare they have.  She seems to like it for the most part.  Jordan has also taken a few steps.  You have to set her up to take the steps but its a start.  She also loves to give kisses:-)  it is the most adorable thing ever!  Tyler has been busy working on his car to get it ready for the auto cross that he will be doing in June. 

Mother's Day

Mother's day was on Sunday.  It was nice.  We got up and went to Perkins for breakfast.  Then it was so sunny and nice out Jordan and I played outside most of the afternoon.  Tyler worked on his car to get it ready for June.  We even pulled Jordan;s kiddie pool out and played in that.  She loved it! 

14 Months

Jordan is getting so big just shy of 14 months she is looking more and more like a toddler and growing out of her baby stage.  She continues to learn so much.  She loves books!  She enjoys pulling them all off the book shelf and bringing the same book to you to read 20 times.  She has not walked yet.  She continues to walk along the furniture and she will now stand up on her own without holding onto anything, but no steps yet.  I'm thinking it will be very soon though.
Tyler and I got some money back from taxes so we decided to invest in a new bed which has been wonderful.  We also bought a new dishwasher.  Our old one had completely stopped doing its job.  It has been very nice having a dishwasher that cleans my dishes again.

I finally found a new job.  I got a job at Cost Cutter in Winona.  It has been good so far.  I have not had very many hours yet.  I am taking the place of a girl and she is not leaving until middle of May.  So until then I am only working 2-3 times a week.  The days I have been there though have been pretty busy.

Childrens Museum

Last week Tyler was out of town all week. It was weird being alone in the house he has not been gone that long in a long time. On Friday I decided to take Jordan over to the Children's Museum in Lacrosse, WI. My friend has brought her daughter there and said it was fun. It was fun they had a Wizard of Oz sections, and dinosaurs, fire trucks, and all sorts of cool stuff. They had a water section which Jordan very much enjoyed splashing in. On Saturday Tyler, Jordan and I went to our friend Amanda and Dejay's daughter's 5th birthday. It was a ton of fun. Jordan doesn't really care for the texture of grass. It was a good time though. Its cray to me Kaylin is 5. I remember when Tyler and I went to meet her when she was born.

Everything else

Jordan is shy of 13 months. I can't believe its already been a month since she turned one. She has been quite a busy girl. She is getting pretty good at standing I have been practicing her balance to get her to stand on her own. She loves to me outside. At daycare they bring her outside pretty much everyday as long as its nice out. Our daycare has a new puppy about 12 weeks old. Jordan seems to like her very much. Which also brought her to learn how to say "puppy". Its really the cutest thing ever. Jordan loves to read books. She sits on the floor and screams at you with a book in her hand. Which means come over here and read this to me. This weekend we are going up to the cities for Easter and to say adios to our friend Logan. Logan is moving to Germany for work for 2-3 years.
On the job front. After Jordan's birthday party my job which I was very much liking informed me I was not the right fit and they fired me. I believe I was hired to cover her maternity leave, but who knows. I have been looking for a job since then and have not really had much luck hopefully something happens soon.

I'm 1 now

I celebrated St. Patrick's day by putting my festive shirt on. I like to look out the window and watch people and animals walk by. I also like my new pink chair I like to sit and stand on it.

1 Years Old

Jordan turned 1 years old on March 8th. Tyler and I can't believe how fast this last year happened. Jordan has turned into such an amazing little girl.
We through a birthday party for her on March 10th. We had about 30 people over it was a great turn out and Jordan had a lot of fun. She had her own smash cake which she had no problem smashing into. She got a lot of good gifts and clothes she can grow into. It was a very fun event and we appreciate everyone who was able to come out!

Say What!?

Jordan is coming up on 11 months! I can't believe it. I sent out her 1st birthday invites. It feels like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. I informed Tyler she is becoming a person which he laughed at. What I mean by this is she is learning to talk and walk and do all sorts of things. She does say "Hi" and wave. She also puts her hand in the air when you ask her "how big is Jordan?" Jordan is able to get to a standing position when holding on to something, and if she is not standing she is crawling everywhere! She also has become quite a good eater of real food and not baby food anymore. Jordan got mad and started crying the other morning when we ate all the banana bread. Jordan is quite an adventure.

Haircut

We cut Jordan's hair today. We didn't cut off much. We just mostly brought it up in back so she doesn't have a mullet anymore. She did so good too :)

Christmas

It was a busy with Christmas. We went up to the cities on Friday the 23rd and celebrated Christmas with the Olson's. It was a lot of people. Jordan held up pretty good she ended up going to bed a little later then usual. On Christmas Eve we went to my grandma Glady Jackson house with my side of the family. We decided just to do the two Christmas's. It was much easier this way too. It was nice seeing everyone we opened gifts, and had dinner. We hung out before heading back to Nor and Kevin's house. Christmas day we woke up and opened gifts with Nor, Kevin, Ross, Heidi, Cameron, Tyler, Jordan and myself. Jordan is not to sure on gifts yet, but Cameron was there to help her out. It was a lot of fun and it will be even more fun next year. All in all it was a good Christmas and nice to spend time with everyone.
