Our little princess turned 2 months old on Tuesday. I can't believe that she is already 2 months the time has gone by so fast. She goes in to the doctor next week for a check up, and they will give her the first round of vaccine shots. Jordan has also been only getting up once in the middle of the night for a feeding. Which is nice it gives me a longer stretch of sleep. She also naps great during the day. I will put her down and she will sleep for 3 hours.
My friends Stephanie and Krista and her daughter Aryanna came down for the day. My friend Krista is moving to Seattle so we won't be seeing each other for a while :-( She wanted to meet Jordan before she leaves. We went to lunch and hung out. Aryanna who is 10 months old was very interested in Jordan and just wanted to play.
My brother also came down for the night last week. He had met Jordan at Easter. He doesn't want to hold her he thinks she is just to little which is completely fine. It was nice having him here for the night. We went to lunch and just hung out.
My mom came down yesterday for the day. She is going to watch Jordan for 2 days while I am working, because Tyler will be out of town on a business trip. I have to return to work next Wed. I am a little excited but at the same time I would love to stay home with Jordan all the time. Tyler and I will be working opposite shifts he will work 7-4 then I will go to work 4-8. That way we don't have to spend all our money on daycare.
I'm glad to hear you'll be back at work and will get some adult time. Also glad to hear Tyler will get one-on-one time, too. Hopefully the hand-off will go well. I recall good/bad feelings about going back to work. Four-hour shifts sound like a great transition.
